How do I set up email accounts using my web based control panel?

Login to the webbased interface using the login name and password  provided to you. 
Select user administration
Click on the button ADD
Type user name example : myname (do not add @mydomain)
Type password : mypassword and confirm password : mypassword
Do not enter any other information or change any information
Save
Now your user id ; myname@mydomain is created.


How do I send receiveread my email via email client?


To send/receive your email, you must set your email reader (Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, etc.) to mail.yourdomainname.com/net/org for your incoming POP3 and outgoing SMTP mail server. This will require your username (everything before the @ in your email address) and your password.

A) Outlook express mail client setup configurations

Steps for configuring your outlook express for sending and receiving emails for a sample : mydomain.com with user id : myname.

Step 1)
Configure your email id on the server via the web interface as per the details already given above

Step 2)
1) In your local pc go to Start button at left hand bottom corner of monitor > programs > Outlook
express
2) On top Menu bar > Tools > Accounts > A pop up window will open
3) Right side top corner of above window > Add > Mail > New > another pop up
window will open
4) Display name : MY NAME > next
5) Email address : myname@mydomain.com  > next
6) Incoming mail server / POP3 - mail.domain.com
7) Outgoing mail server / SMTP - mail.domain.com > next
8) account name : myname@mydomain.com and password : mypassword
9) finish

Now your local email id is ready for sending and receiving emails


B) Eudora mail client setup configurations

Select "Options" from the Tools Menu 
(For earlier versions of Eudora, select "Settings" from the Special menu) 

Click on "Personal Information" (scroll down if you can't see it). In the appropriate fields, enter the following information:

POP Account: myname@mydomain.com
Real Name: MY NAME 
Return Address: myname@mydomain.com

Your current email address is the address you are currently using to receive email. If it has already been entered do not change the setting. Your new domain name address is the personalized email address that you have chosen. 

Click on "Hosts" and enter the following information in the appropriate field: 
SMTP (outgoing mail server): mail.mydomain.com
POP3 (incoming mail server) : mail.mydomain.com

Click the OK button 

You are now ready to begin using your myname@mydomain.com! 


C) Microsoft Exchange setup configurations

Select "Services" from the Tools Menu 
Make sure that Internet Mail is selected. Click Properties and enter the following information in the appropriate fields:

Full Name: Your real name 
Email address: myname@mydomain.com
Internet Mail server: mail.mydomain.com 
Account Name: myname@mydomain.com
Password: mypassword

Your new domain name address is the personalized email address that you have chosen. Your current POP server is the server that you are currently using to receive email. If it has previously been entered, do not change the setting. Otherwise, you can obtain this information from your Internet Service Provider or your Network Administrator. 

Your current email username is the part of your current email address that is before the @ sign. If it has previously been entered, do not change the setting. If your email address were YourName@CurrentEmail.com then YourName would be your username. 

Your current email address is the address that you currently use to receive email. If it has previously been entered, do not change the setting. 

Click Advanced Options and enter the following in the appropriate field. 
Enter: mail.YourDomain.com 

Click OK on each screen (three times). 

Restart Microsoft Exchange and you are ready to begin using your new domain address! 


D) Netscape setup configurations: 

Click on the Identity tab and enter the following information in the appropriate fields: 
Your Name: Your real name 
Your email: myname@mydomain.com 
Reply-to-Address: myname@mydomain.com 
Click the Servers tab and enter the following information in the appropriate fields: 
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.mydomain.com
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: mail.mydomain.com
POP3 User Name: myname@mydomain.com
Now Click the OK button. 
You are now ready to begin using your new domain name email address.
